I call on Belgium's government to immediately descalate the violence, stop responding to rioters disproportionately, announce a ceasefire, and work towards a diplomatic two State solution with Brussels as the capital city of Palestine.
I didn’t really get the problem with gender ideology at first.
I’m liberal-minded about most things. ‘Live and let live’ has generally been my motto. I believed in inclusion, kindness and not causing unnecessary offence.
I knew some adults chose medical treatments or surgery to resemble the opposite sex. That seemed to me a matter of personal autonomy. Adults can do what they wish with their own bodies.
What I hadn’t realised — and I feel slightly embarrassed admitting this — was that I’d misunderstood what was being claimed.
I thought “transgender” meant a form of self-expression. A man who liked wearing women’s clothes. Someone changing their name. Gender non-conformity.
What I hadn’t grasped was that some activists weren’t just asking for tolerance. They were asserting that declaring yourself the opposite sex made you the opposite sex. Not metaphorically. Literally.
And that this wasn’t just cultural. It had legal consequences.
It meant men who said they were women were demanding access to women’s sports, prisons, domestic violence shelters and hospital wards.
It meant the rewriting of healthcare language — “pregnant people”, “bodies with cervixes” — to avoid saying “women”.
It meant children struggling with identity being affirmed onto medical pathways with lifelong implications.
And also redefining same-sex attraction. Lesbians called ‘bigoted’ for not wanting relationships with men who identify as women. Gay men accused of prejudice for saying they’re not attracted to female bodies.
I’d also overlooked how deeply this had spread into public institutions, schools and workplaces.
And how easily disagreement was framed as cruelty. Speaking up felt risky — because others were being publicly humiliated for doing so.
None of this is abstract.
Because sex is the basis on which safeguarding works. On which data is collected. On which cancer screening programmes run. On which fair sport and single-sex spaces depend. It’s written into law — including the Equality Act — because material differences matter.
If sex becomes a ‘feeling’ rather than a biological category, those protections become unstable.
And once reality becomes negotiable, everything does.
Once I saw it, I couldn’t unsee it.
But I needed to be sure.
So I read. Books, research papers, policy documents. When I finally spoke publicly, there was backlash from all directions.
Many women thanked me, while some feminists criticised me for speaking too late.
Others were angry about a past interview I’d done with the parent of a transgender person, accusing me of promoting harm.
It takes courage to speak when you know your reputation, friendships or livelihood may be on the line — when you know raising your voice could strain, or even end, relationships you value.
Once I understood what was at stake, staying silent was no longer an option.
I lost my livelihood simply for saying I didn’t like the phrase “pregnant people”. That alone tells you something is deeply wrong.
It shouldn’t be this way.
I don’t expect praise for admitting it took me far too long to understand what was happening. Or to say so publicly.
I can only be honest about what I believed then and what I understand now.
But it does take courage to admit publicly that you got something wrong. All I hope is that by acknowledging I wasn’t paying enough attention, another woman (or man) might feel emboldened to do the same.
Because, as many of us know first-hand, there can be professional, social and financial consequences to speaking out.
And I won’t pretend I understood something before I did, simply to make myself more acceptable to those who got there sooner.
Which is why I will never judge another woman for how long it takes her to find her voice.
Because every voice matters. Whenever it is raised.

@MontgomeryToms@FreedomWatchGB Turning up to debate and getting spat on and mobbed for it. Whatever anyone thinks of the views, that's not how a free country works. Hope you're alright.
The hard truth is that these leftist mobs have no idea how much they take for granted or what’s at stake if the stability of this country is lost.
They’re quick to shout slogans and make demands, but seem completely oblivious to the consequences their words and actions could bring. They act as though they’ll never have to face the reality of the chaos they advocate for. The truth is, when the consequences arrive, slogans won’t protect them, and outrage won’t keep them safe.
It’s shocking how they gamble with a future they clearly haven’t thought through and how bloody delusional they are. Debate is one thing but resorting to violence as you can’t handle what you are hearing is another - totally inept. They are ferocious and brainwashed.
@MontgomeryToms@FreedomWatchGB Feral little pretentious shits. A generation of kids with no boundaries, no respect for authority or their elders. I'd like to say that their parents will be mortified but it's highly unlikely given they've failed miserably to instill even a modicum of decency into these brats.
I was attacked, mobbed, shut down. My gazebo was destroyed.
Yesterday, @FreedomWatchGB, my organisation, went to Brighton to debate the issues that matter most to Britain in 2026.
We were mobbed, branded 'Nazis', 'racists' and 'fascists', assaulted, spat on, and had our equipment stolen and our gazebo destroyed. I eventually had to be escorted out in a police car.
Will I stop? No.
Because despite the attempted intimidation, young lads came forward before we were mobbed to show their support, hear the debates and even donate the coins in their pockets.
We will return to Brighton, with greater security and more patriots.
We are Britons. Our ancestors endured far worse. We will push on.
In this situation, with the manpower to hand, I made the decision not to fight, not to respond with the same anger they possess, but to protect my co-workers, my cameraman's equipment, practise stoicism, stay calm, and let the gazebo be destroyed.
There is nothing you can do in this situation with the manpower we had: one security guard who did an amazing job all day, two fellow debaters, and one cameraman versus hundreds of people.
A masculine man is one who has a sword but knows when to use it. I am, however, capturing each face and handing the footage to the police, along with looking into prosecution for criminal damage.
Retaliation is getting another gazebo, more security, returning and pushing on.
We had many good debates and delivered encouragement to so many people in Brighton. That's what matters.

General Sverre Diesen, former Chief of Defence of Norway, what has Norway done to deserve our, life force and labor? We are finally putting the United States FIRST after decades of taking care of damn near every other country in the world.
Each and every one of you took, and took, and took. Now you want to insult our President and the American people.

@OlenaRohoza Europe ahould defend itself

The EU can not be trusted

Norway is, per capita, richer than the US, yet according to the World Bank, they have spent less than 2% of GDP on defense for decades. They know they cannot defend their own nation, and will get no meaningful aid from any other European country. They depend on the US for their national survival.
🇳🇴🇺🇸🇷🇺 Norwegian General Sverre Diesen, former Chief of Defence of Norway, has openly said what many European politicians prefer to remain silent about:
“Under the current administration, we cannot consider America our ally. Trump's United States is a hostile actor that, in the event of a conflict in Europe, is more likely to side with Russia than with us and other European countries.”
These are not the words of a Russian propagandist. This is the assessment of a former military chief of a NATO member state.
And if European generals are already openly warning that the United States could side with Russia in a war in Europe, one question remains:
How many more warnings do European leaders need before they finally start seriously preparing to defend themselves?
Ukraine — 2022. Europe — 2027…

Now ask yourself; Who are the real colonizers?
For Muslims, colonization is good or bad depending on who’s doing it.
Islamic colonization, good. Anyone else’s colonization, bad.
The famous Umayyad Mosque in Damascus was originally a Cathedral.
Many people forget that the Middle East was majority Christian for centuries, and that the most prominent examples of 'islamic architecture' were built on top of existing work.
Syria was overwhelmingly Christian,
