Flare’s interoperability stack is starting to come together. FDC verifies what happened on external chains. FAssets brings assets like XRP into Flare. Smart Accounts let XRPL users trigger actions on Flare directly from XRP payments. And with LayerZero we extend assets like FXRP across other ecosystems. These pieces can already be composed into flows like: XRP on XRPL → mint FXRP on Flare → bridge it to another chain, triggered from a single XRPL payment. Hex Trust, the custodian with $5B in assets under custody, proves its USDX stablecoin reserves with Flare Confidential Compute on Songbird. Only a signed result showing whether USDX is backed 1:1 or better goes onchain. @FlareNetworks
Firelight is a good example of Flare infrastructure reaching financial products outside the Flare ecosystem. The $30.5M of cover added to Kraken’s USDC vault is powered by Firelight on Flare, with coverage backed by staked FXRP through the FAssets system. Coverage terms and capacity are registered onchain, independent risk assessors validate eligible incidents, and approved payouts are executed programmatically. This gives products like Kraken’s USDC vault access to a shared onchain protection layer without having to build the coverage infrastructure themselves.

Flare Confidential Compute provides a way to use private institutional data onchain without exposing the underlying data itself. With USDX, the sensitive reserve data stays inside a confidential computing environment. The code running there is attested, the machine identity is registered onchain, and Flare data providers have to authorize the instruction before the enclave can process it. The enclave reads the private @Hex_Trust data, computes the USDX backing ratio, and only publishes the signed result. Contracts then verify that the signer is an approved machine running approved code before accepting the update into the feed. This gives Flare a path to bring private reserves, credit data, payments data and other restricted financial information into smart contracts without requiring institutions to publish the underlying records.

Thanks to Flare Smart Accounts (FSA), an XRPL signature can now be the starting point for a loan that is actually executed across multiple chains. The user authorizes from XRPL. FSA turns that intent into programmable execution, then FXRP can move to Ethereum, get posted as collateral in borrowing/lending markets via Morpho, and RLUSD could be borrowed against it. The user can get the loan without manually operating the Ethereum/Flare side of the flow. XRPL provides the user authority, Flare handles the orchestration, and Ethereum provides the lending market. One signature can coordinate a cross-chain credit workflow instead of forcing the user to manually switch between three different environments. All of this is enabled via FSA and custom instructions: dev.flare.network/smart-accounts…

FCC is more than running code inside a TEE. Flare provides the coordination layer around it. A contract sends an instruction, Flare data providers relay and sign it using the network’s weighted signing policy, and the TEE only executes once >50% of signing weight has approved it. Optional cosigners can add another authorization layer. Sensitive inputs can also be encrypted directly to the TEE, processed inside the enclave, and returned only as a signed result. Building with FCC means confidential offchain computation can inherit onchain authorization, attestation and verifiable outputs instead of building that trust layer from scratch. A network only becomes more valuable when people build things worth using on top of it. XRPFi is a good example. Builders turned XRP into lending, yield, and cover markets on Flare. The same applies to every new asset, market and application that finds real demand. That activity generates fees, and FIP.16 gives those fees a path back into FLR through FIRE. That makes every builder part of Flare’s core economic engine.
XRPFi creates usage. Usage generates fees. Fees route to the Flare Income Reinvestment Entity (FIRE). FIP.16 made FIRE's mandate primarily supply reduction: burns, buybacks, and what governance sets next.
Flare gives developers a set of primitives that become much more useful when combined. FTSO and FDC bring external data onchain. FAssets make assets like XRP programmable. Flare Smart Accounts let XRPL users control actions on Flare. FCC adds private, verifiable computation. Put those together and you can build products around lending, cover, payments, collateral, credit and cross-chain execution without designing a new trust model for every step. Permission Delegation gives XRPL accounts scoped authority at the protocol level. Flare Smart Accounts give those XRPL accounts a programmable execution environment. Put them together and a developer can design a credit flow where the XRPL signature defines who is allowed to act, Flare coordinates the cross-chain execution, FXRP becomes collateral, and borrowed RLUSD can return to XRPL. ‼️Permission Delegation will be activated in 10h on the XRP Ledger! New era for institutional account access management. This will open the doors to a lot of interesting players. This feature allows especially treasury and asset issuers to delegate XRP account specific jobs
