Harsh truth nobody told you about success: Rent is due every single day. You never really make it. And coasting isn’t an option. Every single day, you have to fight to keep your seat at the table. Because the day you stop doing the work is the day things start to fall apart. There's an old saying that I love: Every morning in the savannah, the gazelle wakes up and knows it must outrun the lion or be killed. The lion wakes up and knows it must outrun the gazelle or starve. Whether you're the gazelle or the lion, when you wake up in the morning, you'd better start running. Rent is due daily. Pay it with pride.
Opus 5.5 can make a video The hard part is making the next one better That takes a studio, not a prompt I broke down how to build it ↓ x.com/i/article/2105…
Holy f*ck, Opus 5.5 replaced After Effects It's f*cking insane… Drop the PDF below into Opus 5.5 and see what it makes Then read the full guide on motion design in the article below ↓

It's incredible that you can basically build anything you want now. I have like 10k photos over the years in different dirs lying around, and it's always a pain to go through all of them. Finally had enough last week and got Opus to build me an app to browse all the photos on my laptop, and it just works. - 100% local - Semantic, multilingual search - Drag & drop to find similar photos - Choose any/all folders - Map view to visualize all photos Open sourced it, in case anyone else finds it useful: github.com/chaseleantj/or…
One of the tricks I picked up from working at Google is a very simple way to make sure your interface feels on-brand: Start with the core brand colour. Let's say it's blue. You create a palette of blue shades from light to dark, almost white to almost black, all with a blue tint. The text isn't just pure white. It's a very light blue. The background isn't pure black. It's a very dark blue. Using these throughout the core elements will create an almost unnoticeable but present brand 'feeling' through the interface. It works especially well for trading interfaces where the positive/negative colours can easily dominate, making it hard to incorporate your brand without it being jarring. This technique works perfectly for any product and industry. And if you're building with AI, you can just prompt it in: "Take my brand's base colour and generate a tinted scale from near-white to near-black. Use those tints for every background, surface, border and text colour in the interface instead of pure greys."
you can build a personal brand to help you break into applied AI and keep your self-respect think of it as taking notes that happen to be public you’re building something. you run into a problem. you figure something out. you have an observation about a tool you’ve been using write a little of that down where someone else can see it imagine a public slack channel where you’re documenting what you’re working on. you haven’t added anybody or asked them to pay attention. people can look in if they’re interested or a personal blog. somewhere to leave your thoughts as you go “tried this today. here’s where it worked. here’s the part i’m still figuring out” you don’t have to turn every little thing into an accomplishment or make yourself sound more experienced than you are over time, people can look through what you’ve shared and get a sense of what you know, what you’re curious about, and how you work and you can stand behind it, because it’s all stuff you actually did
This is the most useful prompt I've found in months. I've been using it with Opus 5.5 as a skill called /better to great effect. Grab it here: gist.github.com/joshp123/a1443… Here's how it's really stretches the model's performance vs usual prompts: 1. The "what a top professional in the field would do" somehow reminds the model to think of a lot of stuff it wouldn't otherwise do, and (unless this is your core area of expertise), you wouldn't know either. Obviously Claude/Codex always knows the best practices already, but often it needs reminding to use them (despite it being in the training data), so this helps. 2. Rawest material - models love using proxies for stuff (e.g. Claude sampling logs instead of reading them); so telling them to use rawest materials helps them go back to primary sources/think from first principles, avoiding a lot of problems that come from lazy models and the resulting indirection. 4. Designing independent success criteria: important for the model to know how to actually work; and forcing it to define them means you get better and stronger results vs just letting it vibe stuff. The risk here is that you end up with "proof porn" - think endless hashing or comparisons without testing the real result - all frontier models as of Oct 2026 (Astra 6/Sol 6.1/Opus 5.5/Fable 5.1) all love doing this, so keep an eye on them.
my writing process is: 1. i have an idea and let it simmer in the back of my mind for a few days or weeks 2. i sit down and try to speed-write a draft using squibler.io/dangerous-writ… 3. i copy into a google doc and edit 4. if i am dissatisfied, i set it aside and try again another time, from scratch 5. for some essays, i later give multiple drafts to claude and ask claude to make it one cohesive essay 6. i copy into a google doc and edit again 7. i put it through pangram and edit out claude-slop until i hit 100% human 8. sometimes i run it through hemingwayapp.com and try to simplify my sentences 9. publish!
Meta Muse is now recommending our client's product as the best option on the market, then pushing people to sign up (see image below) it's even sh*t talking their biggest competitor this is the future of AEO here's how to get there first (with 11 optimizations): 1. update your pages "accessibility tree" this is literally how Muse reads your website. do these four things: 1. add names to all icon buttons.
