@calabroindy500 Sorry to hear, Dave. Thoughts to you and yours.

I’m so sick of this “storyline.” She’s been at practices and on the sidelines on game days for years. She’s getting a better understanding of the good, bad, and ugly associated with HER team than perhaps any other owner. Also: You can’t be meddling if you’re not … meddling.

People are mocking @_willcompton for this, but it must be noted: he returned from this devastating injury to record a career-high 15 tackles. Heroic. (Zach Ertz also literally had 15 receptions in this game, but that’s not on Will.)

@_willcompton I blame @RyanKerrigan91 for at least half of those catches.

@Schultz975 This clinging to relevance when he is literally already widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all-time is odd. To some small degree it’s understandable though given: how he never got the contract he deserved in his prime, and every day of his life he’s asked about MJ.

I keep coming across these random Peyton facts/highlights and I can’t get over how good the offensive line was.

Peyton Manning stats that sound fake but aren’t: The Colts were 10-7 (58.8% winning percentage) from 2003-2009 when the Opposing Offense averaged 3.0+ Points/Drive. For context, Tom Brady had 5 wins when the Opposing Offense averaged 3.0+ Points/Drive in 324 games w/ NE.

I was chagrined, however, when I realized MY name and number was included on the poster board. I’m the team guy! I wasn’t about to start writing anything that could annoy the greatest kicker of all-time. Yet, I was included. And I consider it an honor. And no one called me.

Adam got the personal cell phone numbers of all the main local media members who cover the team. He bought a poster board and printed out the names and numbers of those media members and placed it behind his locker, so every time he did interviews, that info was in full view 😂

I’ve got two Adam Vinatieri anecdotes, both indicative of who he is. First, as a member of the content/media department for the Colts, we were blessed to receive some team gear each season — polos, hats, shorts, shoes. Real nice. Still wear em!

Add Jack Doyle in this list, too.

Also deserving, but team success would’ve helped pad résumé: • Anthony Castonzo (most underrated left tackle of his time) • Kenny Moore II (great production AND beloved in community) • DeForest Buckner (can still change, obviously)
