@konstantinsaifo @threejs Crazy! Love how these models are looking more properly scaled. The other stuff is cool but not as useful when you can’t overlay it with other tools/info.

@vitalduval It’s almost like we need a new type of model (ideally local) specifically designed for spacial reasoning. You will find even the frontier models are poor and slow working in actual scales.

@elonmusk Could you drive this car off a cliff and have it soft land at the bottom before crashing?

Great window into how they dissect models and how they work. Scary how biologically similar it is. Not surprising to see the bias of focus on words over geometry in LLM training. Makes sense we would flag the error when we ask for cars and get the odd dog in there when models were smaller. Now we’re asking harder vision questions to bigger models that have old fine tuning techniques applied to it. That would explain why AI vision context is still so poor now.

@ASTS_Investors They will be producing a rocket every two days starting next year… wow launch will not be a constraint for very long. Also great for rocket lab component’s too since everyone’s going to be building sats like crazy now.

@SciGuySpace We need to see RKLB make this kind of confidence bid in neutron. I’m sure the launch deposits would be there.

Hmmm it worked for Japan so I don’t see why not in other countries. They control the spectrum ultimately. @AST_SpaceMobile could also install some kind of override key in the country’s funded sats that allows the government to take full control of those sats and monitor all activity over their land. Like a super gateway… I’m clearly just arm chair engineering that but they must have something like that which wouldn’t be public knowledge to ease those concerns.

@NASAMars @NASA You could also overlay the drone imagery to make it even more detailed… And you can do a walk on mars simulator in the browser that is actually accurate….

@NASAMars @NASA @NASAMars can someone take the video and position data from the rovers on mars and make a really detailed 3DGS model. That would be really cool and maybe useful for science.

@j_brissonneau GIS software is horrible today and very high value with asset management. I would love to see you disrupt there.

$ASTS has 50% the sqft in orbit as $SPCX at 1% the market cap… who do we think will 10x in valuation first?

$ASTS When someone says AST only has X number of satellites (they usually get the number wrong but gloat about it anyway), you show them this info-graphic and say, ‘they got almost half the phased array as Starlink up already; and AST’s WORK!’ I’d also give them this emoji, but

If @RocketLab can’t do it sooner then it simply couldn’t be done sooner. Full trust in their team and @Peter_J_Beck

We already knew there was a pretty big chance $RKLB was going to delay Neutron, so I’m not sure why I see so much panic. As Peter Beck says here: “How late was Electron to the market? Nobody knows! Because it doesn’t matter”

Qualcomm CEO reveals AI companies want phones running 100-billion-parameter models continuously by 2028--and confirms some are building phones Cristiano Amon: “I have to be careful not to disclose names, but some AI companies—some of the companies at the forefront of AI—are telling Qualcomm, ‘By 2028, I need to make sure that I have the ability to run at least a 100-billion-parameter model in a phone, and I need to have this thing running kind of all the time.’” Alex Heath: “So you’re saying there are AI companies that are talking about—” Cristiano Amon: “Well, AI companies are starting to do phones.”
