We kicked off the Language Clubs cohort with an opening session that brought together developers from across Africa, all eager to deepen their skills and contribute to Bitcoin open source development. 🚀 Over the next six weeks, participants will follow either the Python or C++ track, working through exercises, building projects, and sharing weekly progress. Along the way, they’ll learn together in home groups, get support from faculty and chaperones, and stay accountable to the work. It’s the start of a focused journey; one where consistency, curiosity, and collaboration matter.

From February 8–14, I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Lightning Network Developer Bootcamp. It was an enriching experience where I gained new skills in open source development and Bitcoin, and connected with amazing people and a new culture.
