There are two types of people in the world, where it pertains to intuitively grasping the trajectory of AI (and automation broadly):
Those understand capability gradients, and those who don't.
To be fair to the latter group, it also requires technical understanding of the underlying technology to truly apprehend what's happening and what's coming.
I hate this slide every time it comes up, and now from CSAIL
This has been false since before the slide was made. Automated systems make management decisions all the time (trading, logistics, customer service, insurance) & pretending they don't actually launders responsibility.
Vibe coding is dead."
Vibe coding is dead. Agentic coding is the way.",意思是凭感觉写代码已经过时了,智能体编程才是正道。

Screw it, I'm gonna write an anti-doomer manifesto. AI isn't going to kill everyone. It's time that someone stepped up and created an authoritative counter-narrative to the AI Safety Doomer Conspiracy Theorists.
I really appreciate that @DaveShapi has put effort into thinking about and clearly communicating practical implementations for how we can all transition into the AI-powered post labor economy
The math on UBI doesn't work, and it's politically impossible to implement

This makes sense as a first move.
As annoying it is, notice that these are big companies, some of them leading their own agentic infrastructure.
We should watch what they do with agents very carefully.
notice..
> Delta is blocking AI agents from booking flights
> JPMorgan Chase and Charles Schwab block agents from accessing accounts
> Yelp requires paid data licensing for agents
> Amazon has blocked Grok bot and other shopping agents.
the internet is starting to block AI
@MaxFRobespierre Only temporarily.
Any company that wants to survive long term MUST have an agentic customer strategy.
Many of them are gonna be idiots about it and try and spin up their own custom solution.
But in the long run, purpose-built markets and interchanges are the way to go.
The key to using Claude Ultracode is to give it a time budget rather than a token budget.
I gave it instructions to come up for air every 10 to 20 minutes to check on it's progress and keep moving forward.
I gave it the expectation that it should finish the task within 2 hours, whatever the quality was.
For reference, this is the animation I've been doing on my videos.
Claude Opus 5.5 on Max is a competent animator but it makes many little mistakes, so it takes multiple passes and the animation is pretty simple.
Ultracode, however, is bonkers. Yesterday I caught it spending 2 hours just polishing and iterating on irrelevant library assets, so I gave it a hard rule that it has to deliver results within 2 hours.
Those two rules (check in frequently to recalibrate, and deliver within two hours) is game changing.
