Our team spent the week at @token2049 Singapore. A few things we noticed: > Revenue meta is real, but narrow. Only a handful of tokens have the revenue to back it, and capital is crowding into those names fast enough that price is running ahead of fundamentals. > Quantum is the new narrative bid. A few quantum-resistance plays moved on it this week, and it feels very early for how hard it’s being priced. > Fewer builders, more institutions. The floor felt thinner than the last two years, with more funds and service providers than new teams. Surprisingly little AI. > Stage topics haven’t moved much: stablecoins, RWAs, tokenization. Perps, privacy and trench trading got some airtime but memes barely came up. > Social trading is where a lot of traders find ideas now, but most of those apps still fall short on execution. That gap is where users get frustrated. Our read: thin builder turnout plus tighter VC money looks a lot like the bottom of the cycle for crypto innovation.
