What is it with these people? You could go off-road ATVing. You could have a beautiful kumzitz at Kever Rochel. But no. Apparently nothing beats the sheer exhilaration of arriving at an olive grove without the proper paperwork, being politely informed that you can't enter, and posing for selfies pretending like you just survived the Siege of Leningrad.
I’ve been detained by the IDF, along with a group of rabbis & volunteers. We were simply harvesting olives in a grove near Nehalim in the West Bank. The occupation is a crime under international law. Harvesting olives isn’t a crime under any law I know.

Oh, this is too easy. Trump defeats the Iranian regime. (There's even a good chance the Shah's son returns to power.) Even under new leadership tensions linger between Iran and the Gulf States. Having spectacularly underestimated Trump on Iran, world leaders suddenly discover a newfound appreciation for staying on his good side. Nobody dares challenge him, a new Trump World Order emerges, and MAGA begins its transformation from an American political movement into a global ideology. After Trump completes his mission JD Vance becomes the next President of the United States. Once Trump exits the stage, there's nobody left with the stature to keep Elon Musk in check. Musk rapidly consolidates control over the internet and virtually every major technological sector, becoming the most powerful human being in history. MAGA gravitates toward him as he declares his mission to save Western Civilization and restore the glory of the Roman Empire. (At this point I wouldn't be surprised if he crowns himself Romulus II, after the legendary founder of Rome.) Meanwhile, President Vance discovers that occupying the Oval Office doesn't mean very much when another man with his own space force effectively controls modern civilizational infrastructure and gets to decide which countries get internet access. Powerless to challenge Musk, Vance retreats into isolationism and launches an all-out crusade against fraud... In the process, Vance develops an enthusiastic following among Gen Z on both the right and left. Meanwhile, at the UN, the Security Council begins passing increasingly hostile resolutions against Israel. Eventually, Washington decides to abstain and for the first time, Israel finds itself completely abandoned... Would you like me to keep going? Because we haven't even gotten to the part where the Houthis march north, all the way to Mecca. Or the part where remnants of Iran's fallen regime flood Europe with weapons, quietly positioning themselves to transform the very protest movements currently rioting in European streets into an armed uprising capable of bringing the continent to its knees. And, of course, there's the small matter of what happens when someone knocks out the power grid, plunging entire countries into darkness and bringing modern civilization to a screeching halt. I suppose we can save the complete collapse of Western Civilization for the following year's predictions, but believe me, I can go on.
