It goes to show how out of touch most people are when they think solving pure math conjectures has the same purpose as finding cures to diseases I think it’s safe to say these people live in a different planet of their own delusion
25 Fields Medalists are worried AI solving math too fast could damage mathematics. I see the opposite happening in coding. Imagine scientists delaying a cancer cure by 100 years just so they can experience discovering it themselves. It would be a disaster for humanity.

Major update on elliptic curve rank records! Rank 30 has been found by mysterious ranksunbounded user! Lower bound is unconditional - 30 explicit linearly independent points. Upper bound 30 proved under GRH assumption via Bober's method. What an epic news and congratulations to the record owner!
Here is another awesome challenge for your brain and AI. Find an elliptic curve with at least 30 independent points. Notice that the rank records have been increasing since the 1930s. But recently we see the law of diminishing returns. The problem is so hard that the record curve
