@greasegunner45 The climb animation is an actual animation they made for the scientist, though I’m not sure if it’s used, I extracted it from Half-Life: Day One.

Finally finished up my Half-Life Scientist UGC animation pack tonight. I'll be publishing it soon. I'll be uploading a scared variant later for the memes.

Roblox might also have a new physics solver in the works atm? Something experimental called PrimalPhysicsSolver. I'm definitely not analyzing it properly since it seems to produce slower unstable results for lots of moving bodies. Reminds me of Roblox's earlier physics engine.

@TenebrisNoctua Oh shit, they’ve been working on Primal for awhile. Nice to see it’s actually happening. Last time I tested it, it felt like old Roblox physics.

Wrote a feature request adjacent to this mess to try and get it improved. What if we had a version of IsA called: Instance:TryCast(className: string) ...where it returns a reference of type Class if Instance:IsA("Class"), otherwise nil. That'd be swag. devforum.roblox.com/t/add-instance…

This is valid Luau now. Probably the most degenerate thing I've ever written.

@Shedletsky Believe it or not, this is the only way to do a "one-line" type refinement of an InstanceHandle (which is sort of like a weak pointer for instances used by attributes that point to instances) if-then-else expressions are Luau's solution to native ternary operations.

The classes and enums are generated through ReflectionService instead of using the JSON API Dump now. Some information was lost, but a lot was gained too. Here's the first automated commit/release it created! github.com/MaximumADHD/Ro…

Started upgrading my C# projects to .NET 10 today. I'm hoping to move Roblox-Client-Tracker off my PC and into the cloud entirely. Roblox-File-Format now automatically sustains itself through GitHub actions! github.com/MaximumADHD/Ro…

It was a rough idea, but my thinking was like... instead of it being literally parented to the object, it's managed through an API of adding and removing objects from the collection. It'd be more realistic to put objects into a folder, or make the whole parent->child component relationship something driven from the property window.
