@NotSoLittleC I really wish you could name / shame those that were complicit in this madness. You shouldn't, but I wish you would. Anyone that could knowingly and willingly engage and support this type of behavior doesn't belong in the industry. Shame on them. I'm sorry this happened to you.

@Hadley @CompellaSearch This. I have this conversation with someone almost daily. R&D budgets are almost non-existent, customer spend is down, layoffs are rampant, cost of change is scarier than benefits of adoption, funding goalposts keep moving, etc etc. Being a founder right now is extremely tough.

@chrisbergman I want to play so bad. I just wish I could find time. Sooo busy. Every waking moment = work work. I'm like a peasant in warcraft: orcs vs humans or something

@HarryStebbings How many of those $2m on $10m have bridged before raising their next round "great round"?

@fintechjunkie @troutgirl @mariano_mgv @HarryStebbings When we raised our seed round, a lot of my peers raised at ~15m post-money. There were even some that raised at >$20m. They are now struggling to raise their next round, and those that bridged in 2022 are even worse off. Failure rates are high, and valuations are a real factor.

@IrregularExpr @mudstack We don't currently support this today. To link it to the file, you can add the maps as attachments, but it won't render. In an upcoming release, we are adding file relationships so you can define connections and our in app renderer will use them for previews.

@HarryStebbings Honestly, it's rough out there for founders. If somebody can raise $6m, then I don't think it's realistic to expect them to do otherwise in the current environment. Instead of talking about the folks that can raise $6m, maybe we should be talking about folks that can't?

@cegapereira I am now reminded that McDonald's even exists...will have to examine my fast food biases and give it a try.

@farming_xp @ScuderiaAsino I did not enjoy the special, and going in I expected that I would. I ended up turning it off about halfway through.

@chrisbergman Doing the same this weekend. Mine are 5 & 3. Lots of Legos, some baseball while the sun is out, Mario Kart, and too much Bluey.

@therealcliffyb Yea...I can't relate yet. I'm sorry, wish I had some meaningful advice for you besides just keep on keeping on. Maybe, if you are an extreme masochist, you could start another game studio? Or a game tech startup or something.
