@Luna56397622891 We aren't able to integrate directly with Firelight today. We will be using Flare in our DeFi plans, and working with curators who use Firelight, though.
One of the best investments I've ever made was a lifetime subscription to 2600 magazine. It's been decades of learning from it.
@sptucha @UpholdInc NYDFS licensing is like AAA video game releases - "When its done"
Most debit cards offer zero cash back because interchange is too low to make the math work. So how can @UpholdInc offer 4%? Our annual fee helps, but the real driver is our backend tooling: 1. Aggregated liquidity across hundreds of assets (on DEXs and CEXs) 2. AI-powered screening & compliance 3. Fast, cheap stablecoin settlement Blockchains let us offer better financial services.
@jessepollak Every asset, derivative, cashflows, receipt, deposit...
@MiaAI_lab Are you mainly using it for agentic non-dev work? (Systems automation, IT admin type of tasks)
@0xQuantic There are no limits to what motivated, curious dreamers can do.
@scottmelker Tokenized deposits are operationally more efficient to mint/redeem than stablecoins - but they require an investment in banking cores that can be expensive and complex depending on the bank.
What used to be very different markets (stocks, crypto, stablecoins ) are more connected than ever. This week we're seeing SpaceX ($SPCX), EverNorth ($XRPN), and Cerebras ($CBRS) as top buys on the platform; 38% of these are bought with fiat, 20% are with stables, and the rest with other crypto. (Many sells are also going from equities to stables and crypto.)
Bought my XRPN with RLUSD inside Uphold this morning. Congrats @ashgoblue and @evernorthxrp - if re-wiring the financial system was easy, we'd of done it already. Slowly, then all at once!
Tokenize everything, especially derivatives. 24x7 price discovery, hedged with prediction contracts for illiquid/non-standard instruments. Settle instantly in stables or deposit tokens. Write credit against portfolios, future cashflows, and receipt tokens for assets in DeFi.
@heresjohnny1775 @TheCryptoSquire @UpholdInc Yeah - before I worked for Uphold, one of the last things I did at PayPal was help Celsius creditors get their claims. Its heartbreaking to see what can happen when things go wrong. Working hard to get XRP yield to Uphold customers!
@IOV_OWL These are some of the deepest, most liquid markets in the world. Trillions in value are hard to price, trade, settle and especially collateralize. That is all changing.
@heresjohnny1775 @TheCryptoSquire @UpholdInc We are! Not as fast as I'd like either, but crypto is unforgiving and if we do it wrong there's no undo. Needs custody security, wrapping, secure bridging, vault setup and deployment, audits, liquidity onboarding...
@Jcantwell @UpholdInc @money2020 Yes, many people open them. If you're having issues, DM me. (Do not listen to the scammers below who do not work at Uphold)
New website, who this? Uphold.com has a fresh look today!
