Launching Payman's Agentic Banking Foundations Certification. The core skills of agentic banking. How agents work, how you control them, and how they break. Everything you need to know before an AI agent touches someone's money. Free, self-paced, open to everyone. paymanai.com/certification/

For two years the nicest way people told us Payman was a crazy idea was “trust between AI and money is hard, it’ll take time.” Last week 100+ bankers in Boulder voted us the Bankers Choice Award for our tech. Not a panel, not an analyst, the people who’d actually have to trust an agent with their customers’ money. The older you get, the less likely you are to get a trophy, and I didn’t realize that until our team got one. Our product and engineering teams, with Prashanth and Akash, spent those two years making this safe, reliable, token efficient, fast, and actually delightful all at once, which is a bit like walking barefoot across glass. Scott and Sanjay figured out the other half, the real pain we solve, how to stage it into a bank even when we don’t start with money movement, and how to sell into one. Trust is still built over time and through action, and an AI world doesn’t change that. It just means more people say it out loud once you’ve earned it. Agentic banking is here. We’re not just pioneering it anymore, we’re laying the foundation.

We won the Bankers' Choice Award at ICBA ThinkTECH, the accelerator for community bank innovation. 🏦 Built for bankers. Chosen by bankers. @PaymanAI

Today we're launching @PaymanAI's AI Agents, built for the age of agentic banking. Every bank faces a quiet threat: the big AI companies are getting between you and your customers. The questions that used to come to your bank now go to ChatGPT. 200M+ people ask ChatGPT financial questions. 55% of US consumers use AI for money decisions, up from about 10% last year. Every one of those is a relationship your bank used to own. Payman brings it back in-house. Our agents answer everyday money questions in your bank's context, serve retail and commercial, and even move money seamlessly. We're already in production with banks nationwide, moving tens of thousands for their customers in just months, and that number grows every day. Ready to bring your customers back in-house? Transactions tell you what happened. They never tell you why. And "why" is where the whole relationship lives. Our CPO Akash Desai wrote about this gap that most banks are sitting on. Every time a customer says "move enough to cover rent" or "I'm worried about overdraft," they're handing you intent data that no transaction record will ever capture. The difference between knowing a customer transferred $1,200 on Tuesday and understanding they were stressed about making rent before payday? That's the difference between a bank that reacts and a bank that actually serves. Here's what he breaks down: → Why transaction data alone leaves banks blind to what customers actually need → How conversational AI extracts intent signals from natural language → The real use cases: personalized offers, early hardship detection, retention Full blog in the comments. 👇

banks are ready for AI. they're just waiting for someone they can trust. @PaymanAI is that partner.

banks don't trust what they can't control. trace every action, enforce every policy, audit every move. that's the product.

best product he's seen in a decade. that's all the signal we need.

your bank knows what you did. it has no idea why. that context, the why behind every transaction, is the most valuable data in banking. and nobody's capturing it. this changes with agentic banking.

community banks aren't just serving communities. they were built by the people in them. they've always put people before profit. so we built AI that does the same.

We let our CEO and CPO loose with mics and cameras and one question: why start with the hardest problem in AI? Almost an hour later, they were still going. No teleprompter. No PR filter. Just the raw conversation of why we chose to build AI that actually executes financial transactions inside banks. It's long. We're not sorry. @0xTyllen @dollahbillya youtu.be/CIB_bHc-1vs

Introducing After Hours. Because banking goes beyond branch hours when it’s agentic. This series explores what happens when AI helps banks execute real financial work safely, with the control, compliance, and trust banking requires. New series. Starting now.

We are excited to announce our partnership with Citizens State Bank, a 113 year old community bank serving seven branches across Western Colorado. Citizens State Bank is deploying AI agents that work alongside branch staff to handle teller workflows, loan collections, account servicing, and reporting, with full audit trails and bank defined compliance controls. This is not a chatbot rollout. These AI agents understand what a banker is trying to accomplish, execute multi-step workflows, and maintain complete auditability throughout. "Our customers are at the heart of everything we do at Citizens State Bank. By thoughtfully leveraging AI, we are improving efficiency and access to information so our team can spend more time focused on the financial needs and decisions that matter most to the people and businesses we serve." - Alexander Price, President & CEO, Citizens State Bank Community banks are leading the shift to agentic banking. We are proud to be building this future alongside Citizens State Bank. Read the full announcement: businesswire.com/news/home/2026…
