Over the last month, I've been more or less away from the screen on Saturdays, and to my surprise, I didn't really miss much at all. Feels good to have some more grass time. It's been a habit to always be online, especially since I lost a lot on a Saturday when BTC and ETH dropped by about 15% (August 2023) and I was AFK. Since then, I've been better at protecting my bags and have more long-term investments than perps going on at all times. Hopefully I don't jinx it this Saturday, though (the market looks a bit weak).

The reason is simple. If it was luck, most people would instead confuse it with skill and continue in the hope of earning more —> eventually roundtrip everything If it was skill —> why would you quit something you’re good at and earning money consistently from?

I've been looking into what @SuiNetwork is doing on quantum security. The plan is to let existing accounts move to quantum-safe keys using the recovery phrase they already have. It's not live rn, so I wouldn't call Sui quantum-safe yet...but it's coming. Some other breakthroughs are that they hit 40M+ TPS through offchain tunnels that settle on Sui, well beyond Visa's throughput. You and me don't need that capacity tbh, but agents making payments all day might. Sui also shipped confidential transfers in September, keeping payment amounts private while settlement stays verifiable + Samsung Wallet plans to put gasless USDC on Sui within reach of 82M U.S. Galaxy users. Holding my $SUI bags still.

$STRK was up 20% on the news about the governance vote on whether they should become an independent post-quantum L1. The vote ends in 7 days, but's it's already a 99,8% on "Yes, this should be researched". A “Yes” vote indicates support for further research. It does not constitute approval of a transition to an L1. I mean, who wouldn't want more research into this in these FUD days... Anyway, the news is about to get retraced completely as it is already a done deal IMO.
