@matousekfoto I had to wait 4 months to avoid the feel while remembering to cancel before it auto renewed. Their billing is predatory.

I just discovered FS-Cache in Linux and it sped up my NFS shares 6x even with 10 gig youtube.com/watch?v=KVNAp7…
I had the full suite for half off, so about $30 a month. Each time I tried to quit they tried to extend my subscription for another year, along with another free 90 days. If I were still using their video editing suite or I was a creative professional this is an incredible value, but I can't justify paying that for using it Photoshop 1-2 times a month and Illustrator a few times a year.
@romayojr Not if I plan to actually get some work done ;)
@JustinMitchel Haha no, I actually need to get work done ;)
@JustinMitchel I've been using Resolve for video editing and getting by using Affinity. I can't justify the cost anymore if I am not also using their video editing.
Decided to turn my adventure yesterday morning into a post technotim.com/posts/automati…
The only appropriate label for my self-installing Linux boot drive that wipes everything, installs Linux, and adds my ssh keys all without touching a key.
Local models on my own hardware are getting better, and I want to use them before sending everything to a frontier model. NVIDIA Switchyard and Nemotron 3.5 Lightning are helping me do this. youtube.com/watch?v=qxfNTc…
@SvenKichi that assumes that we are in the same state and not helping via text message 😂
Helping my sister with her router and access point. I now have to refer to them as trash can looking thing and the circle thing so she knows which I am talking about 😂
@iScottCarr Love it. Also, everything is a modem, no matter what it looks like.
@romayojr We talking currently retail or less 😅
Anyone have a 5090 they want to sell? Hoping to do some testing with 32GB VRAM for my next video.
@datachad @nvidia Much more than that, check it out here x.com/TechnoTimLive/…
@DevRico003 @nvidia Great question! I don't gate on speed, although I could but I automatically test it against 4 models: google/gemma-4-12B-it nvidia/NVIDIA-Nemotron-3.5-Lightning-30B-A3B-NVFP4 Qwen/Qwen3-0.6B nvidia/Qwen3.8-27B-NVFP4 Each of those models are then tested against a list of
I now have a Spark server that builds and tests my vLLM Docker image in CI against real models. This will be the first and last time this Spark touches grass. Post: technotim.com/posts/vllm-gb1… Huge thanks to @nvidia for supporting this project!
@mrgrosser @nvidia Dear Boss, Because. Thank you.
@nvidia Forgot to link the repo github.com/timothystewart…
Great question! I don't gate on speed, although I could but I automatically test it against 4 models: google/gemma-4-12B-it nvidia/NVIDIA-Nemotron-3.5-Lightning-30B-A3B-NVFP4 Qwen/Qwen3-0.6B nvidia/Qwen3.8-27B-NVFP4 Each of those models are then tested against a list of features and functionality. Everything from tool calls, to vision, to reasoning. If it fails any of those tests, the build fails. This helps me ensure that I deliver and image that works. I also attach all of the results to the release. You can see in this release: github.com/timothystewart… I thought about gating it on speed but that's less important to me than keeping true to upstream vLLM and model feature testing. You can check out the PR here github.com/timothystewart… or read about it here technotim.com/posts/vllm-gb1…
