While America builds the future and China races to dominate it... Europe is making sure your bottle cap stays attached. 🇨🇳🇪🇺🇺🇸

Europe has paid somewhere between $209 billion and $320 billion to Russia for energy. 🇪🇺 🇺🇸 Since the start of Ruussia's full scale invasion of Ukraine, the total amount varies depending on whose accounting you trust, but even the lowest figure is nearly nine times what the United States has spent on all Russian imports combined over the same period. The United States banned Russian crude imports in March 2022 and has kept that ban in place. It still buys Russian fertilizer, uranium, and palladium, and Trump’s diesel waiver opened a new channel, but the total American purchases from Russia since the war began are in the low tens of billions — a fraction of what Europe has spent.

The unrest began Saturday afternoon when a march organized by the “Italia in Piazza” movement turned violent around 4:30 p.m.

Italian police fired tear gas and clashed with protesters in central Milan as protests in Italy are turning violent. 🇮🇹 During "NO MELONI DAY," Italian students pointed to the physical condition of their buildings... crumbling walls, outdated facilities — and what they called a “barracks-like school” model that was turning technical institutions into training grounds for precarious work. What started as a student revolt absorbed broader economic anger within weeks: farmers and truck drivers blocked roads in Puglia, Calabria, and Sicily over fuel costs, the hauliers’ union Conftrasporto threatened a national blockade over energy prices, teachers are demanding wage increase.

President Trump has issued a formal endorsement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of Israel’s October 27 election. President Trump called Netanyahu “a Great Warrior Prime Minister” and “an even greater Partner for Peace in combatting the Islamic Republic of Iran." 🇺🇸 🇮🇱 Trump’s endorsement of Netanyahu is the move of a president who understands that the stakes in this Israeli election are not just about Israeli politics — they are about whether the most consequential US-Israeli military partnership in history survives the next government. Trump and Netanyahu jointly launched and prosecuted Operation Epic Fury against Iran, destroyed 82 % of Iran’s air defenses, eliminated Supreme Leader Khamenei, grounded the Iranian air force, and sank 161 naval vessels.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commenting on US sanctions relief for Russia, says that “the decision to undo all of this, to block all of it, seems wrong to me.” 🇺🇸🇺🇦 The Russia-Ukraine war is now in its fifth year, and the argument that America should keep escalating economic pressure indefinitely without a clear path to ending it is becoming harder to make to the people actually paying the price for it. Over four years, the United States has sent well over $100 billion in aid to Ukraine, absorbed the economic shockwaves of European energy disruption. The sanctions can be reimposed overnight if Putin walks away from talks... they are leverage held in reserve, not leverage surrendered. What Trump is offering is something no one else has seriously tried in four years: a theory of how this war actually ends that does not require Russia to collapse first.

President Trump says, "France is burning! The immigration of people from an entirely different world, people with hatred in their hearts, has shattered that once great country." 🇫🇷 France issued 384,000 residence permits last year alone, on top of decades of large-scale immigration that successive French governments have acknowledged straining public services, housing, and schools — the very things the protesters are now furious about. Overcrowded classrooms with 35 students and not enough chairs do not happen in a vacuum; they happen when population growth outpaces infrastructure investment, and immigration is one of the largest drivers of that growth in French urban areas.

France is surveying the damage after its worst day of civil unrest in years, following Saturday’s nationwide protests. 🇫🇷 President Macron called the rioters “sowers of chaos” and vowed prosecutions, while Prime Minister Lecornu blamed “extremely violent, radical far-left groups.” The police watchdog is investigating at least two dozen allegations of police violence, and Amnesty International has criticized the use of force against minors. The unrest comes six months before France’s presidential election, with Macron deeply unpopular and similar protests spreading across Belgium, Portugal, Italy, and Albania. It is a structural failure of a fiscal model that treats austerity as the answer to every crisis and then acts surprised when the people who bear the cost of that austerity stop accepting it quietly.

Vice President Vance says Trump “was a billionaire before he ever got into politics” and that "they tried to “throw him in jail for like 900 years." 🇺🇸 A man worth $4.5 billion by Forbes’s conservative estimate did not need the presidency to get rich, and whatever you think of Trump’s politics, no previous American president has faced anything close to 91 criminal charges across four jurisdictions while simultaneously running for and winning reelection. The fact that every single case either collapsed, was dropped, or ended without punishment does raise a legitimate question about whether the legal system was being used as a political weapon.

JUST NOW: President Trump says, “When I did the little excursion to the Islamic, the beautiful Islamic Republic of Iran, we Beat the Shit Out of them." 🇺🇸 🇮🇷 Consider what the United States has actually accomplished in seven months: Iran’s supreme leader is dead, 161 of its naval vessels sit at the bottom of the ocean, its air force has not flown a single sortie in months, 82 percent of its air defenses are destroyed. The fact that Iran is now at the negotiating table, its military hollowed out, its proxies cut off from advanced weapons, and its nuclear program under more pressure than at any point in its history tells you everything about whether this “little excursion” worked. Every president talked about containing Iran. Trump is the first one who actually did it.

JUST NOW: President Trump says, "Our country is once again based on merit. Getting into college, getting into the military, getting a job anywhere. It's based on merit." 🇺🇸 For years, families watched their children work hard, earn top grades, score well on standardized tests, and still get rejected from universities that were filling seats based on skin color rather than achievement. Trump appointed the Supreme Court justices who ended that practice, and whatever his critics say about every other issue, on this one he delivered something that parents across every demographic have wanted for decades. United States became the most powerful and prosperous nation in history precisely because at its best, it rewarded talent and President Trump is ensuring it stays this way.

Egyptian President says he will take any measures necessary to protect and defend Saudi Arabia against Houthi attacks. 🇪🇬 🇸🇦 Houthi escalation has crossed from a Saudi problem into a regional emergency that neighboring states now feel compelled to prepare for militarily. Egypt has expressed verbal support for Saudi Arabia many times over the years, and Sisi himself has said since at least 2016 that he would not hesitate to send troops to the Gulf if asked. For Egypt, the calculation is partly about money and partly about geography. Gulf states, Saudi Arabia chief among them, poured billions in aid, deposits, and investment into Egypt after the 2013 ouster of Mohamed Morsi, and that financial lifeline remains critical to its economy.

JUST NOW: Thousands of protesters clashed with police across France in the country's biggest wave of unrest in years. 🇫🇷 France is living through something that looks less like a single protest movement and more like the slow breakdown of the social contract between the state and its citizens, and what makes this round different from the yellow vests of 2018 is that it started with children. When teenagers are walking out of schools because the ceilings leak, the classrooms hold forty students, and there are not enough teachers to cover the schedule, and then the state’s response includes rubber bullets and stun grenades that cost kids their eyes and hands, the moral authority of the government to lecture about respect for property evaporates overnight.

Yemen’s Houthi movement escalated its campaign against Saudi Arabia this week, vowing to continue striking oil facilities. 🇸🇦 🇾🇪 Hitting an airport terminal and killing a dozen people from eight different nationalities is not a symbolic gesture... it is an act designed to make Saudi Arabia’s airspace feel unsafe for every airline and every traveler, and it is working. Flights are being canceled, the capital’s airport is closed for a week, and embassies from the US to Canada are telling their citizens to stay away. When Trump says he stands with the kingdom, there is real power behind those words. The Houthis are gambling that the midterm election timeline gives them a free window — but they are betting against a president who has already proven, repeatedly, that he hits harder than anyone expects and does not let provocations go unanswered.

Around 72 million American households own stocks through retirement accounts. 🇺🇸 U.S. stock market in 2026 has delivered one of the strongest performances in modern history across all three major indexes. The S&P 500 reached approximately 7,724 as of early October, having crossed above 7,600 for the first time and setting 23 all-time record highs so far this year. TSMC is spending $265 billion to build semiconductor plants on American soil. Micron is investing $250 billion. Apple committed $600 billion. Manufacturing added 72,000 jobs in nine months.

JUST NOW : President Trump called Barack Obama “the divider in chief,” saying, “Barack Hussein Obama said you’ll never have manufacturing in our country.” From day one, President Trump said tariffs would force companies to build here. Legacy media outlets laughed. Every editorial board said he was not aware of economics. Every trade policy professor with a Ph.D. explained why it would never work. TSMC is spending $265 billion to build 12 semiconductor plants in the United States. Micron is investing $250 billion. Apple committed $600 billion. Japan is building chip factories in America for the first time. Manufacturing added 72,000 jobs in nine months

Factories were leaving America. Then came TARIFFS. 🇺🇸

JUST NOW: President Trump says he will give $5,000 to every adult U.S. citizen and that Democratic policies would prevent it from happening. 🇺🇸 A Democratic House would block every spending bill Trump sends, kill every tax cut, and replace his tariff-funded prosperity agenda with the same regulatory suffocation and deficit spending that gave Americans 9 percent inflation and $5 gas under Biden. Democrats spent $6 trillion in COVID-era money and Americans saw stimulus checks with expiration dates and an inflation hangover that lasted year.

President Trump says, “I don’t care anything except for once. I want that war ended. 25,000 soldiers on average a month are being killed.” 🇺🇦🇺🇸 Trump is the only leader in this equation who is publicly saying that the killing has to stop... not after one more offensive, not after one more weapons package, not after Ukraine retakes Crimea, but now. The EU summit just gave Zelensky a standing ovation and pledged €70 billion more. Nobody in that room said “25,000 people are dying every month and we need to end this.” Zelensky himself acknowledges 50,000 Ukrainian soldiers dead and 400,000 wounded. These are World War II-level losses.
