Breakeven protects capital, but moving your stop too early can destroy your profitability. I've been testing this with my own trading strategy. The real question isn't whether breakeven is better than a loss. It's whether moving to breakeven improves your expectancy over hundreds of trades. That's where the data matters.

Couldn't agree more. I built my ARE strategy around one repeatable setup, defined session ranges, strict risk management and a maximum of two attempts per session. Once I get my winner, I'm done. The biggest improvement in my trading came from eliminating unnecessary decisions, not adding more indicators. Simplicity backed by data is powerful.

Top down analysis gives you context, but execution and risk management determine your results. I use the 15 minute chart to establish my session range, then the 5, 3 and 1 minute charts to refine entries. My trades are based on defined conditions, not predictions. If the setup isn't there, I don't trade. That's where discipline becomes the real edge.
