I was working on the volume metric so it would show not only the number of transactions, but also their total value. However, it looks like I won’t be able to pull it off with the current budget and resources, so I’ve put that idea on hold for now. Right now I want to focus on a few things: - More analysis of the existing data (beta live soon) - Monetization — giving builders more data after the free beta, custom sharing cards/pages, and possibly a few other things. Most likely a subscription in the $3–10/month range. I’m also thinking about NFT collections, maybe some packs with builder codes — that could be pretty cool. - The Farcaster dashboard is almost ready. A lot of apps are already synced. I think everything should be done by Monday — I just need to polish the visuals and figure out the logic. The core of BuildBoard itself currently costs almost nothing besides my time, but adding a lot of the cooler features requires extra budget, and you always have to balance debit and credit. I've been thinking also about tokenization for BuildBoard, but it seems there are more downsides than upsides, although I do have a few ideas on that front—and the trenches would be happy about it. What would you like to see? What would you pay for?

Caught myself thinking that @farcaster_xyz from the Romero/Varun era wasn’t that bad after all: - more people - fun - liquidity - builder/creator rewards I liked Farcaster from the Neynar era — more voice for simple ducks, less algorithmic boosting for the founders friends. There will always be downsides, but right now it’s just a pointless tug-of-war.

A year and a half ago I became a based advocate. It’s a Base volunteer position mainly on Reddit + Discord — basically an ambassador-style role. They recently removed it.And everyone associated with it. It’s neither good nor bad, but I’m still disappointed that it’s happening this way. I’d be glad to see advocates as part of independent communities — @homebasedotlove & Builder Circle and the others. Thanks to all the advocates and advocate leads. See you!
