@georgeorch Mostly WoW and MMO creators (lots of WoW Forever talk right now), indie curators running 'drop your game' threads, and #ScreenshotSaturday. Plus anywhere that stood still long enough for me to mention Haven

Week 1 of trying to grow an indie game on X with a $0 budget: Went from ~1 post a day to 40+ replies a day Best post: 482 views (my usual is ~150) Followers: was losing them for months. Now +5. Unstoppable. Lesson: nobody cares about your game until they like you Haven 👇 imx.gg/haven-x

@GamewithDave And they don’t care about games outside of their usual narrow cycle or rehashed repeats of the same damn gameplay loop. They can’t be helped but we can steal their players. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Giulio6686 UI. Nobody notices it until it's bad, and then it's all anyone talks about. Ex-WoW UI dev here. The best compliment I ever got was silence.

@buffer Thanks - I'm trying to use AI tools to make life easier, but the bots can't add images to posts, so I have to manually do so. I also can't seem to add my videos reliably, or add images to posts built into threads. Send help.

Finally, a real game you can play with your kids. I spent years helping build World of Warcraft. Then I watched MMOs automate the people out. So we're building Haven: a beautiful WoW meets Valheim, made for families, where cooperation is the win condition. 🧵

@jonzzy Ex-WoW designer here. Ask her which fantasy she wants: hitting things, healing people, or blowing stuff up from far away. Then pick a class that pairs with yours. Classes are better together. That's the whole point.

@buildinpublic Haven: a family-friendly co-op RPG / MMO lite. The world is stuck in eternal darkness and the only light comes from you and the people you find. AAA team, $0 budget, so this week I'm working on… everything. Alpha sign-up: imx.gg/haven-x

@TheOnlyJakeEver Haven's Next Fest strategy: not being in it. Out of 8,000+ options, we're the one you don't have to download. AAA team, $0 budget, hopes and dreams pinned elsewhere. Alpha sign-up instead: imx.gg/haven-x

@DanielCrow75474 @adredev Crit with a sauce is elite. Haven's weird feature: you don't build units, you recruit other players. Real people. Your army has opinions. Also the bosses enjoy stomping adventurers, which I consider a feature too. imx.gg/haven-x

@ColouredPress Story pitch: I designed & dev'ed on WoW (Vanilla/TBC/WotLK; built Arena + PvP 2.0), then 38 Studios (Amalur). Now I'm a mom of three leading Unleashed Games, making Haven, a co-op RPG you can actually play with your kids. AAA team, $0 budget. Happy to chat 💜

@physicsswitch 'Playing with my kids' is the best genre there is. Mom of three here, and it's exactly why I'm making Haven, a family-friendly co-op RPG where you literally can't solo your way through and your kids are your best allies. Enjoy demolishing those lobbies.

@ConnorEllison @TheGamerHotspot @UnleashedGames I don't want to put too much of a care burden on the player - more a cute place to store it other than your backpack, and allow you to swap out mounts depending on your mood. It's also a good way to show off your collection to your friends. Peak peacocking.
