The IPL is the most valuable league in world cricket — and women are among the people who own it, run it and shape where it goes next. As part of the cricexec Women's Power 50, we're spotlighting six leaders driving IPL franchises off the pitch: 🔹 Nita Ambani — Owner & Chairperson, Mumbai Indians; Chair of JioStar. Her leadership spans professional franchises, international media and development programs, positioning her as a defining force in both Indian and global sport. 🔹 Juhi Chawla Mehta — Co-owner, Knight Riders Sports. Alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Jay Mehta, she has helped build one of world cricket's most valuable and recognisable franchises, while demonstrating that success off the field can be measured by more than trophies. 🔹 Preity G Zinta — Co-owner, Punjab Kings. One of the celebrity owners who helped transform the IPL into a cultural phenomenon from its 2008 launch, and who remains deeply involved in the boardroom and on match days through cricket's most dramatic era of commercial growth. 🔹 Kavya Maran — CEO & Co-owner, SunRisers Hyderabad. She sits at the centre of the Sun Group's global cricket operations across India, South Africa and England, involved in strategy, player acquisitions and hands-on decision-making at the IPL auction table. 🔹 Rupa Gurunath — Full-time Director, Chennai Super Kings. A business executive and former cricket administrator, she serves as whole-time director of India Cements Limited, the company behind the five-time IPL champions, operating at the intersection of corporate governance and professional sport. 🔹 Binda Dey — Group Chief Marketing Officer, Knight Riders Sports. She leads brand strategy, digital innovation, fan engagement, sponsorships and licensing across KKR's franchises in the Caribbean, UAE and the United States. Our own Cricket Stadium‼️ Knight Riders Group building their own stadium is as BIG as how top English and European football clubs operate. Financially this is a game changer because currently Cricket clubs share revenues with government but with this move Knight Riders group can directly monetize ticket sales, hospitality, sponsorships, naming rights and non-cricket events like concerts. It will elevates the us from being just a team to becoming a sports enterprise with long term assets.

Hanging up my IPL boots… but not the swagger 💜💛 What a ride it’s been in the IPL — 12 seasons of memories, and a whole lot of love from the @KKRiders family 🙏🏿 I’ll still be smashing sixes and taking wickets in every other league around the world 🌎🔥 And the best part?
