אני עם בנט. בנט היה ״שרוף״ מבחינתי. אירוע ראשות הממשלה, שהיה כשר אבל מסריח ולא אתי בעיניי, ״הבריחה לגלות״ אחרי הבחירות, דווקא כשהיה צורך עז בקול אופוזיציוני חזק וברור, ועוד כמה דברים שאני מעדיף לשמור לעצמי, הביאו אותי לסלוד ממנו. לא מהאדם, חס וחלילה, אלא מהדמות הציבורית, מבנט הפוליטיקאי. באופן אישי, אגב, מעולם לא הצבעתי לו ולא חשבתי להצביע לו. מאז המציאות השתנתה, ואני, שמשתדל להיות פרקטי וריאלי מאוד, יודע שיש רגעים שאין ברירה אלא לפעול מהראש, באופן קר ומנותק מהלב, במטרה לבחון מי מבין המתמודדים כרגע הוא בעל הפוטנציאל הגבוה ביותר להצליח בניהול המדינה, ומי האחד שיכול להוביל אותה לכיוונים שבהם הייתי רוצה לראות אותה צועדת. תראו, אני ושכמותי בבעיה. אני בעל אוריינטציה פוליטית-מדינית-כלכלית, תומך בהתיישבות ובבניין כל חבלי הארץ כצורך קיומי (זה כבר לדיון אחר), במשילות ובקידום הפריפריה, ואני מניח שדעותיי הן בערך כמו של רוב עם ישראל. מבחינתי, גם בזמן כתיבת שורות אלו, אין לי מועמד מושלם. אולי כי לא באמת קיים אחד כזה, ואולי כרגע לא צריך מושלם. צריך רק למשוך את העגלה מהבוץ, ואחרי החילוץ נחשוב מה הלאה. באופן אישי, הייתי שמח לראות ממשלה רחבה של רוב העם- הליכוד, אייזנקוט, בנט והשאר- כל מי שמשרת, משלם מיסים ואוהב את מדינת ישראל. באופן אישי, אני הקטן, חוויתי את רוב העם עובד ביחד במלחמה. שיתפתי פעולה עם קבוצות ואנשים מכל הקשת הפוליטית, ובזכות זה המערך שלי, שלנו, עבד מושלם. לא הייתה ולו דלת אחת בלתי ניתנת לפתיחה… זה לא היה עובד ככה בלי עזרה של כולם. אי אפשר לנצח בלי הרוב. אי אפשר לבנות משהו גדול בלי הרוב. אי אפשר. הייתי שם, וזה שינה את כל מה שידעתי על אחדות. זה לימד אותי על כוחה של אחדות, על אין סוף יתרונותיה. מאז נשארתי תומך נלהב של אחדות. אבל פוליטיקה זה עסק מחורבן, ואני יודע איך זה כשיש משבר אמון בין אנשים- ולצערי, אין לי ציפיות לפתרון מהיר. אבל שיישב לכולם בראש: ביום שזה יקרה, בשאיפה בקרוב, אז תהיה תקומה. מדינת ישראל זקוקה נואשות למנהל תקין, למינויים נכונים בתפקידי מפתח, לתוכניות חירום בחינוך, בביטחון הלאומי וביוקר המחייה. מדינת ישראל 2026 היא מדינה לא מנוהלת. לא הייתי צריך את הקמפיין (המעולה, אגב) של בנט. אני יודע עליו מספיק, כולל היכרות עם המעגל הקרוב אליו. אני יודע שבנט גם הסיק מסקנות מהקדנציה הקודמת, אבל שמעל הכול מדובר במנהל מעולה, יסודי ומקצועי, שלא חושש מעבודה סיזיפית ולא זוהרת. בדיוק מה שחסר כרגע למדינת ישראל. בנט היה שרוף מבחינתי. אבל למדתי על בשרי, בפינה הקטנה שלי, שכשלוקחים החלטות עם הרבה רגש ומעט שכל- בוחרים מנהלים לא טובים. ולנו, למדינת ישראל, אין את הפריבילגיה הזאת… שבת שלום! 🙏🏻

אפרת חברתי, כמה טוב לגלות שלמרות כל העשיה הציבורית והמקצועית המדהימה שלך ולמרות כל ההישגים בכנסת לא אבדת את היכולת לשוחח עם ילדים קטנים, תינוקות מגודלים ועם אנשים שנתקעו בשלבים אינפנטיליים מוקדמים.
