@MartinSkold2 @dc_arctic Taking the L on Iran and leaving would be a good move for USA. And USA got involved in Greenland during cold war to help NORAD watch for missiles over north pole. Geographically Greenland is closer to USA than Europe and Americans would be better served by sending military there.

And their apps and websites are becoming unusable, coincidentally after they put those groups offshore. One of the big airlines has ads for scrum master at a USA hub city, while the dev and quality teams are offshore. That obviously won't work well. Some of the search-choose-pay workflow is so bad it looks like the coders have never traveled and have different cultural expectations of usability. Lufthansa.com website is still pretty good.

@DrDiGiorgio 26%, much spent for healthcare bureaucracy and C-suite salaries, is a marker of regulatory capture by medical providers. Better health, not bigger spend, is a worthwhile goal. Along that line, removing packaged sweets and soda from food stamps is a healthy move by @SecKennedy

Feds do not need to have future deficit spending because they can print unbacked money. Present system of loaning money to ourselves via (private contractor) Federal Reserve is unnecessary and forces our children to pay interest on our present spending. On a hard money standard, feds needed taxation to get physical coin to spend. Fed taxation is now about control and compliance via yearly tax forms. After GFC when gold and silver prices didn't moon, I had to change my understanding.

Younger potential homebuyers need additional purchasing power from paychecks that go further. Remigration is part of solution to help young workers increase earnings. Another part of solution is to locally reduce some overly expensive building regulations. Boomers may not like that cheap landscapers and cleaners are remigrated, but younger Americans can do those roles.
