Cool ship! It's faster than my port (ts-rust aka tsc-rs) in most things. I heard that they wanted to ship earlier but delayed because my --fast mode beat them 🤣 That said, it looks like tsrs is the real winner

Today, I hit a serious bug while running long Codex and Claude Code sessions. Every app running under my user account on my Mac died. I still don’t know which session caused it. I checked memory usage and found fseventsd consuming a lot of memory, so I restarted my Mac. Then I told both sessions to continue. Every app died again. For context: the Codex session had been running for about 30 hours and had lots of messages. The Claude Code session was also long-running and managing a large number of subagents. I haven’t yet isolated which one was responsible.

I see huge potential in scriptc from @vercel Labs. If the performance is good enough, I’d switch my go-to language from Go to TypeScript. Easier code sharing alone is a compelling reason—and TypeScript has plenty more going for it.

I’d gotten so used to my workflow that I thought Sonnet + Sol could handle everything. Then I tried Astra on a task demanding both deep knowledge and strong reasoning. The plan made it clear: Astra is smarter than Sol. Next, I'll try Opus 5.5 once Astra finishes.
