Access to quality kidney care makes a meaningful difference for patients and their families. Thank you to the DaVita team for the work you do to support patients, strengthen our local healthcare workforce, and help Tennesseans living with kidney disease.

I’m proud of my voting record in Congress and grateful for the recognition reflected in these conservative scorecards. These ratings reflect my commitment to defending our Constitutional freedoms, protecting the Second Amendment, securing our border, standing up for the unborn, and fighting for fiscal responsibility. The people of Tennessee’s 7th District sent me to Washington to stand firm on conservative principles, not compromise them for political convenience. I will keep fighting for the values we share, keep my promises, and faithfully represent the district I’m proud to call home.

On October 16, 1981, Task Force 160 was formally designated the 160th Aviation Battalion. From those beginnings, the organization that became the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), better known as the Night Stalkers, would help redefine what special operations could accomplish. Hardworking American taxpayers deserve to know that their tax dollars are being used responsibly to help those who truly need assistance, not exploited by fraudsters, scammers, or corrupt officials. We have a duty to protect our seniors, our disabled citizens, our most vulnerable neighbors, and every law-abiding American who contributes to these programs. I proudly stand behind the Vice President’s Pledge to Protect Americans from fraud!

When my daughter was born, I saw firsthand how expensive bringing a newborn home is. It was a lot to absorb at a moment when our focus was on caring for and getting to know our daughter... This is why I am introducing the Savings for Tomorrow’s Opportunities, Raising Kids (STORK) Act. Read more from my op-ed in @clarksvillenow here ⤵️ clarksvillenow.com/local/van-epps…

Happy birthday to the United States Navy! What began as a small force fighting for independence has grown into a global maritime force dedicated to defending our nation and protecting our interests around the world. To every Sailor, past and present, and to every Navy family, thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your dedication to our nation.

Today, we honor the hardworking farmers who keep Tennessee and America strong. Our farmers are the backbone of our communities, our economy, and our nation’s food supply. Thank you for feeding our families, strengthening our communities, and keeping Tennessee growing!

Today is a reminder that mental health is health, and taking care of our minds deserves the same attention, compassion, and care as taking care of our bodies. It’s okay to ask for help.

As severe weather and heavy rainfall are expected to impact parts of our state, I encourage every Tennessean to take time to prepare and put safety first. 🌧️ Monitor local weather forecasts and emergency alerts. 🏠 Know where to take shelter if severe weather moves into your area. 🚗 Never drive through flooded roads. 📱 Keep your phone charged and check on family members, neighbors, and anyone who may need assistance. Please follow guidance from local emergency officials and avoid unnecessary risks as conditions develop. For important preparedness tips and emergency guidance, visit the Tennessee Emergency Management Authority (TEMA) website: tn.gov/tema/prepare.h…

Tennessee has a tremendous opportunity in front of it. We have the energy resources, infrastructure, workforce, and communities to build something truly significant. The path from an AI campus proposal to power at the plug requires developers, utilities, cooperatives, policymakers, and communities working together. I’m grateful to have been part of that conversation and excited about what Tennessee can build next.

Today, we remember October 7, 2023, and the lives forever changed by the attacks in Israel. We remember the 46 Americans who were among those murdered, the American hostages who were taken from their families, and all the innocent people whose lives were forever altered that day.

It was a pleasure to sit down with leaders from the Jewish Federation of Greater Nashville and hear directly about the work they’re doing. Thank you for the conversation and hospitality.

The Trump administration and @HouseGOP have remained committed to combating drug smuggling and human trafficking, enhancing law enforcement’s ability to protect public safety, and continuing @DHSgov’s historic success at our borders. Deterrence works, and the results speak for themselves:
