The best Fire Emblem is my first Fire Emblem which, incidentally, is also the way Fire Emblem is meant to be.

@ottservia @LucyTheLamia Like accomplishing what a story sets out to do isn’t impressive when it doesn’t set out to do much of anything.

@ottservia @LucyTheLamia It’s just such an incredibly paint by numbers story. There’s like maybe ten named bosses and almost every single character is a lord or a retainer. The world itself is just a circle of grass/mountain/snow/desert. I love the game but everything outside of gameplay bores me.

Fire Emblem Special Edition finally came but it seems to have some issues running on the Nintendo Switch 2.

@iHatejeffwilpon There’s nothing to learn. All time franchise leaders in home runs don’t just grow on trees. You couldn’t make a mistake like this again if you tried lol.

Only two new first party games in a Nintendo Direct has to be a record. Absolutely brutal.

@sham_exe God forbid I say I just want a game with a medieval setting again for old times sake.

@Greenthunder200 I really just wish we could get a medieval feeling game again with zero monsters. Just a flat out continent wide war with some dragon shenanigans. Otherwise I’ve loved most of the gameplay, especially with Engage.

@HatStackMike It’s tough because while I do love video game preservation and giving people a chance to play these games, now that I’ve played it the Virtual Boy clearly failed for a reason. This thing is awful lol.

Mario Tennis Fever at $70 was a heat check from half court that Nintendo completely air balled.

Between Pokopia, FireRed and LeafGreen Pokémon had a solid two month run of making people forget how awful Pokémon is. And then came Pokémon Champions.
