"No Code, No Limits" was wording from one of our earlier ads, and looking back, we agree it wasn't the most accurate way to communicate what we meant. The intended message was simply that you don't need coding knowledge to get started with Violoop or automate workflows on your computer. To clarify, Violoop isn't just a device that connects your computer to cloud APIs. It has its own onboard AI processing capabilities and runs local models for screen understanding, routine reasoning, and task execution. Using API keys from providers like OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini is entirely optional. You can also connect your own locally hosted LLM through Ollama. The main idea behind Violoop is to give AI the ability to interact with your existing computer through real keyboard and mouse inputs, rather than requiring you to write scripts or build integrations. We appreciate the feedback. Clear messaging matters, and we're continuing to improve how we explain what Violoop actually does.

Hi there, Thanks for the detailed questions! Here’s where things stand: 1. Integration Not yet. Right now the only supported way is adding an MCP server. We’re working on more integration options and will roll them out in a future update. 2. What can be shared Yes, you can let Violoop choose what to share, or pick it yourself. If you just want to see what Violoop is doing, the easiest way is the Violoop phone app, which lets you check its current activity anytime. 3. History and storage Violoop doesn’t store your screen observations. Task history, notes and similar data are kept permanently, and you can query or export them whenever you want. Just ask Violoop to do it for you. 4. Local vs. cloud If you use local BYOK (a locally deployed AI model connected to your Violoop), everything stays fully local. If you use internet BYOK or Violoop Cloud, your content is first processed to remove private information, and then sent to the model provider. 5. Mac and display setup All of those setups are supported. And yes, Excel works both in the browser (Microsoft 365) and in the desktop app. Let me know if you have any other questions!
