🎉 You can now connect to EC2 instances inside VPCs without the need for a public IP address. 🧐 Will this finally replace the Bastion hosts that were only used as middlemen to access EC2 instances? aws.amazon.com/es/about-aws/w…

Noticed twice in less than 24 hours that my @Twitter feed has changed back to the "For You" black hole of 💩 since the UI change. That's the final straw. Not going to bother with the mastodon BS either. You can find me on LinkedIn for anyone that cares (same handle) Ciao! 👋

Ahh yes finally the toxic "for you" feed is now forced upon us. I can't wait to use a feed where only 10% of the content is from people I follow. The other 90% coming from accounts playing Twitters algorithm 🤬

Pushing back starting a new FT contract by 2 weeks to get some personal R&D done 🥺 Working out of public libraries like I did when I started this #ServerlessSam adventure 4 years ago 🥹 Funny how life can go full circle!

So if you accidentally put a comma after assigning a value to a string var, Python makes it a tuple. Don't ask me how long I spent figuring that out 🙃

@gilligan128 @thdxr Can you elaborate on network failures and latency? Is the layer not loaded into the lambda env when it is first initialized?

@adamdotdev Constant pressure to keep up in a fast-developing world. There aren't many other domains where the way you work is obsolete/dated in 5 years time

@theburningmonk Serverless Framework with correct references. I'm aware a lambda/dynamodb/SQS setup may have different experiences here to ECS/RDS. I hope I find out on your course 😉 (7/7)

@theburningmonk 2) Green DB stack: Should be straightforward assuming the networking is correct, see step 1. Has a very slow turnaround time (especially RDS) so it's important this gets green with minimal attempts. 3) Green compute stack: leverage tools etc SAM, (6/7)
