"The Lakers have conned themselves, and they would rather make a basketball mistake than admit, 'We got this Bronny James thing wrong.'" — @sportsreiter & @DMAC_LA weigh in on LA waiving Dalton Knecht

Rumors circulate that Kim Jong-un has died, thwarting Kim Ju-ae's succession plans and potentially plunging North Korea into civil war. The Chinese Communist Party has reportedly dispatched 9,000 troops to Pyongyang to assist Kim Ju-ae in stabilizing her regime. In preparation for a potential civil war in North Korea, the Northern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army has entered a state of high alert (Level III), and all troops within the theater command have been ordered to...Leave, family visits, and demobilization/retirement are suspended; personnel who have left the area are recalled; and strict control over personnel entry and exit is enforced!

Rumors of the death of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un have been circulating online for days, but Kim Jong Un has not yet made a public appearance to deny them. This indirectly confirms that the rumors of Kim Jong Un's death are likely true. Furthermore, it is rumored that after Kim Jong-un's death, the North Korean regime has not been transferred to his daughter Kim Ju-ae, but is currently in the hands of his sister Kim Yo-jong. After assuming power, Kim Yo-jong immediately activated loudspeaker broadcasts to South Korea and fired 201 warning shots. She also warned South Korea that North Korea was considering a comprehensive upgrade of its tactical strike capabilities. This sudden intensification of threats against South Korea is clearly aimed at strengthening her control over the North Korean military and consolidating her power through strong external threats. This indirectly confirms the rumors that Kim Jong-un is dead and that Kim Yo-jong is currently in control of the regime; these rumors are likely true.

@Temizdelirdikki Hai

Since Knecht was the only Laker waived, they’re gonna go into this season with Looney as the only true backup 5, and Hardy as the only emergency ball handler close to an NBA level. Health is gonna be very important to start the year. Need Luka, AR, Kessler to play a lot.

There is a problem if the 17th pick in the NBA draft is getting WAIVED before year 3 even starts. Rob Dillingham, pick 8 in the same draft, is also currently unemployed.

Federal agents hit a Belizean national's California home at 6 AM over alleged voter fraud. He's NOT a US citizen. He walked out in handcuffs, per the NY Post. 6 AM. Federal agents. Handcuffs. Remember when they told us non-citizen voting "never happens"? This is a very serious CRIME. Lock him up.

🚨 AMAZING: President Trump has just called for elections to be FEDERALIZED. THIS IS MASSIVE. Secure our election integrity!

The Kim Jong-un death rumors are continuing to intensify, with The Economic Times claiming his sister, Kim Yo-jong has taken power and 9,000 Chinese troops have been sent to North Korea. This story continues to develop....

Breaking: Davante Adams ruptured his hamstring and now will be sidelined 6-10 weeks, per Rams HC Sean McVay.

The Lakers decided to pick up Dalton Knecht’s $4.2 million team option for 2026-27 last October, assuming at the very least they would be able to trade him. After trying for a year, they obviously found no takers and now will keep his dead money on their books for the upcoming season if he is not claimed on waivers (he won’t be). Poor asset management has become a theme for this front office over the years.
