been testing a bunch of coding models lately and honestly, DeepSeek’s latest Flash model is kinda crazy for the price. the code is clean, the output is straight to the point, and it handles a lot of everyday dev work really well. opus is still worth using for some great tasks, but i’m not convinced you need opus for everything anymore. you still have to review the diffs, catch dumb mistakes and test everything. a few things haven’t changed. but the amount of work you can get done with a cheaper model is kinda wild
