@mxstbr timely re-share as we're redesigning our MCP tools (we're at 150+ right now). What we're looking into is grouping some of the tools in "clusters" (we basically have CRUD but across 3-5 surfaces (nr will increase))) - any pointers or thoughts on this? We've researched couple of popular MCPs including some (ex: Posthog) using the "tool search" you mentioned previously (we're not going to follow this route)

A nice “counter” to this is @eric_seufert series mdm.co/agentic-commer… basically making the point that existing online retailers will move and keep their share of commerce. Meaning majority of transactions will stay within those walls. Couple of things can be true at the same time though. I do see the supply side as an uncaptured opportunity - and I have two further thoughts on it: - incumbents will capture quite a bit of it (and these days they move almost as fast as startups) - “neo” providers will address those vertically (transaction vs lead vs booking - like you said) and deeper than incumbents - while partnering (to your point) and leveraging distribution via the same incumbents

In the interim - a prerequisite of of getting there - is that Anthropic and OpenAI (and similar others) become “platforms” - meaning the value they create across their ecosystems and the broader economy (consumer and enterprise) is higher than the value they capture = own revenues (and ideally valuations also). Given how things are accelerating it seems only a matter of time.

@nbaschez Oh, we’re excited! And already building on it. It enables going from giving tasks to agents (which will still happen ofc) to getting tasks from agents (or triggering other agents on events). Somewhat new step in the autonomy/agent interaction ladder. Super cool!!

Attribution should be straightforward in logged-in environments (provided chatGPT passes user data to the brand agent) but we know how journeys can diverge (though I would assume agent loops will be close to mobile rather than web/desktop - in the sense that the transaction can be facilitated in the same environment) The question regarding auction and reporting is more nuanced. Was chatting with someone from AdCP about it a couple of weeks back; I also think it will be less RTB and more negotiation but pricing will be a factor amongst others (context, GEO, “sponsored” vs non sponsored tags, etc.).

Our GTM "team" contains also an intern - and 2 co-founders but I would still try this; Have been using ChatGPT (browser extension) - connected to our "traditional" CRM and to all our docs (notion, gdrive, analytics + history of conversations/calls) - it's pretty good tbh - but I do want to try out a purpose made harness. For example for Twitter/Linkedin I need to have different ChatGPT conversations/tabs; One question: does this support bringing my own skills? (I have some workflows and knowledge I keep on github)
