Spent last 20 years in tech. Learning and reading A LOT which affected my health, family, mental wellbeing. Non-tech people can claim that my tech related wisdom isn't necessary because of AI. Yet tech people: "Learn more than before". Mad industry. Time to exit.

OpenAI sliced my 200$ plan value by half. What exactly happened to me: * My plan is still worth 20x the Plus plan allowance - until 2026.10.29 * New plan is 10x the Plus plan allowance * For some weird reason I've also received 62k credits on my account Will that affect my work? Definitely yes - closer to the end of the weekly usage. Will that affect your work? Probably yes. Does it matter? Yes. Since the process of token price rationalization was happenning for a while, now it sped up. Interesting times ahead of us...

Recent changes of @openchamber_dev are making it absolute toolchain for ai coding. Been using it for months but just now I feel it is "ready" product!
I'd like to stop and think for a minute AI leaders are asking to pause progress on AI models because ... it can kill all of us. Might be true, might be marketing stunt - nobody knows. What's bad about it that even if they are right then it still doesn't matter since nobody trust them anymore.

Did you know that such high benchmark score for ChatGPT Astra was achieved... only due to better harness? Without it - much worse This shows exactly what AI engineers and developers know for a while - Context Engineering and Harness Engineering are parts that we need to focus on. Models are capable enough for most of the tasks already.
